Interview Nicolò Cecchella

Photography

Photography as a mirror.

Photography as an inversion of the temporal perspective.

Photography as a trace, carved out as a model of the gaze.

Photography as a fossil of light.

References (art, literature, music, other)

Something that remains invisible, barely emerging from the bottom of our eyes.

Research methodology

There is a starting point, a border from which we move, in order to decipher the shapes of the content. Going beyond and outside this border might be the only way to understand what generated it.

Artistic crossovers and contaminations

What lies in the blind spot of our gaze and at some point ends up etching its surface.
