Silvia Bigi

Silvia Bigi (1985) graduated in Drama, Art and Music Studies (DAMS) at the University of Bologna. Through the use of different languages – photography, artistic installation, sculpture, sound, video, drawing – her work explores the relationship between the individual and the collective memory. Her award-winning works, now part of public and private collections, have been selected for national and international exhibitions in museums, foundations, and art galleries, including the exhibition Engaged, active, aware: women’s perspective now, winner of the Lucie Award for Exhibition of the year in 2018. Her works have been published in magazines such as Artribune, Der Greif, IO Donna, Atpdiary, Yet Magazine, Artslife, World Photo Organisation, British Journal of photography. She currently lives and works in Milan.
